Peace campaign group (PCG), a member of STS Somalia Umbrella, is a specialized institution in conflict transformations and peace promotion.

PCG have participated many peace resolutions in different parts of the country and succeeded most of them to restore peace and stability.

Many community elders have acknowledged the vital work that PCG volunteered for their Somali war victims.

Therefore, to encourage PCG activities, STS International Solidarity have donated to PCG $1000 USD (one thousand dollars) for their travel and accommodation expenses in order to intervene current skirmishes in Galgudud and Mudug region.

There were new hopes to re-open the Mogadishu sea-port which has been closed for more than 10 years due to political misunderstanding between the rival faction leaders in Mogadishu .

But, this new hopes initiated by Mogadishu businessmen.

The businessmen rehabilitated the damaged walls and gates of the sea-port also the Mogadishu civil society have taken part cleaning sea-port vicinity and the main roads and out of the port .

STS Somalia was among local NGOs participated in the cleaning donating 100 US$ (one hundred dollar) to buy diesel for the trucks collecting the garbage .
