INTRODUCTION:
Hashi humanitarian organization is a local NGO that works in different places in Somalia. H.H.O was first established in 1992 in Mogadishu Somalia, the founder of the NGO is called Hashi that is why they gave his name to the NGO. The organization has a leading members committee, which are member and other members amounting 25.
The major work of this organization is wells rehabilitation assisted by the NGO members and getting temporary financial support by the some International humanitarian organizations. It also deals with canals the Hashi Humanitarian Organization has rehabilitated more than 87 canals located by the Shabelle and Juba rivers.
HASHI HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVES:
Hashi Humanitarian Organization has more objectives such as: To drill a well in Ariile village which locates a long the road between Bulo-Marer and Brava, To rehabilitate more hand pump wells, To train the community selected men to maintenance and care taking of wells, To habilitate canals locating a long side Shabelle and Juba rivers for the week farmers.
The Hashi Humanitarian NGO has joined the STS Somalia member organization in 2004 and the NGO had met very good collaboration with STS Somalia
