THE STABLISHMENT:
This Jasiira fishing community has been established in 1992 at the Jasiira village. The reason for its establishment is to create jobs for the professional fishing inhabitants in the village. Once the central government collapsed in 1990 the different post they were working had been stopped. It become necessary for the Jasiira community to establish the fishing community, which its members are the dwellers of the Jasiira village this fishing community had been established to firs become an income source for both families in the village and as a fund raising for the future expenses of the fishing community infrastructure.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES: Its main objectives is to create a permanent job for the Jasiira community who are professional fisheries so the Jasiira community had established this fishing project to improve their living standard but the Jasiira fishing company has move objectives like: To improve the fishing facilities, To build a little fish -processing factory, To build a center for the refrigerators and stores for the fishes, To implement a well developed fishing professionals, The maintenance of more fishing boats, To maintain the fishing boats building work shop.
THE FUTURE PLANS OF JASIIRA FISHING COMMUNITY: If the Jasiira fishing community obtain further financial assistance we are planning to build a mini fishing factory, To prepare a market for our products, To develop our boats into a modern quality fishing boats. Our Jasiira fishing community has first joined the STS Somalia umbrella in 2001 as to be have good relations and collaboration with their NGO.
